Why Journal in These Times?

How to Start?

2. Choose a consistent time. Morning, lunchtime, or night. The time matters less than choosing one and returning to it.

3. Start with one simple question. Try: "What do I want to say to God right now, or hear from God?" You can also write down your dreams.

4. Write without editing. Don't worry about grammar or structure. Let the sentences be messy if they need to be.

5. Date each entry. This small habit lets you look back and notice what has changed, what has been answered, and how far you've come.

That's the whole method. It doesn't need to be more complicated than that.

If You Happen To Miss A Day

A gap is not a failure, and you don't owe the page an apology or a catch-up entry. Open to the next blank page, write today's date, and begin again. The habit isn't built by never stopping. It's built by returning and building consistency.
