Writing Declarations “You shall decree a thing, and it shall be established for you” Job 22:28

A declaration is choosing to speak and stand on what God’s Word says, even when your circumstances say otherwise.

Faith anchors you in truth, not in what you are physically seeing play out in front of you, but in what God has already spoken. It shifts your focus from temporary situations to eternal truth.

Scripture reminds us that death and life are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21). Our words shape our reality, strengthen our faith, and influence the direction of our lives.

A declaration is not just describing what is happening.
It is choosing what God says is true and standing on it with confidence and boldness.

When the world says, “You are not enough,” you declare,  “I am complete in Christ.”

When fear says, “There is no way forward,” you declare,  “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.”

When circumstances feel overwhelming, you declare, “God is working all things together for my good.”

✍️ A Simple Practice

Pause and write:

• What am I facing right now?

• What does God’s Word say about it?

• What truth will I declare today?

Turn that into a simple faith statement and speak it daily.
